Currently in the United States, the number of children being diagnosed with autism is far outpacing the number of providers available to provide support.
- Parents of children with autism do not receive the training and support they need.
- The system of support was never set up to provide parents with intensive training.
- However, when parents receive quality training it can make a world of difference for their child with autism.
